Youth ages 5-9yrs + accompanying adult

Led by culinary instructors from No More Empty Pots, this 3-part weekly workshop series invites children ages 5–9 to learn essential kitchen skills while discovering international dishes and dynamic flavor profiles.

Through hands-on cooking and food assembly, young chefs explore the five fundamental tastes—sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami—building practical kitchen confidence and a foundational understanding of global culinary traditions.

What Kids Will Learn

  • Kitchen Fundamentals: Practical experience with safe, age-appropriate cooking and assembly techniques.

  • Sensory Awareness: Interactive exercises to identify and balance sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami.

  • Cultural Flavors: Direct exposure to diverse ingredients and traditional flavor combinations from around the world.

*Note: Accompanying adults attend strictly to support young chefs, not as active class participants.
