Experience an evening of heartfelt folk music at its finest with the Little Fire Collective & Friends, featuring the renowned Watched Pots. This event is set to take place at the legendary Gordon Best Theatre in Peterborough, Ontario, and is part of a "Celebrating Women in Music" series that reoccurs on the first Thursday of each month. Embrace the captivating harmonies and poignant lyrics of these highly acclaimed folk artists as they take you on a musical journey you won't forget.
Little Fire Collective
An original folk pop rock group out of Peterborough, Ontario, LittleFire Collective features unique song-writing, vocal harmonies, electric banjo and percussion. Saskia Tomkins will be joining the band for this performance on violin, adding yet another layer of interesting twists and turns on this musical journey from outer to inner worlds of love, loss, joy and self acceptance.
The Watched Pots
The Watched Pots are a two-piece band from Nogojiwanong who have reclaimed the sounds and experiences of the kitchen to create unique music that combines humour, feminism, improv, and kitchen theatrics. The band also has a Trent radio show called 30 Minute Grammy where Erin & Mel create songs based on listener suggested topics in 30 minutes or less (always less)!
