Little Miss Ann plays upbeat, interactive fun songs that kids will sing, jump and dance along to! Little Miss ann is a Chicago-based, Filipina-American, nationally touring family music artist who has made 7 award-winning Kids Music Albums. She is also a former Chicago Public School teacher, an instructor at Chicago's Iconic Old Town School of Folk Music, and a social justice activist. Whether Ann is singing about Ube, a Filipino purple yam, or the 606, a landmark trail in Chicago, her musical themes will inspire kids to let their own light shine in their own families as well as in their communities!

OWNER MICHAEL CAMERON BOOKED ALL OF THE ENTERTAINMENT FROM 1991 UNTIL 2007 & STILL OVERSEES THE MUSIC PROGRAM WITH OUR PART TIME MUSIC DIRECTOR, MARIA SCHROEDER. 

WE HOST ONE OF THE BEST OPEN MICS IN THE COUNTRY EVERY SUNDAY, WHICH IS SPONSORED BY SHURE & GREENSTAR ORGANIC BREWERY. MANY OF OUR TALENTED NIGHTLY PERFORMERS HAVE GONE ON TO CRITICAL ACCLAIM. WITH UNCOMMON GROUND'S INTERNATIONAL REPUTATION, YOU NEVER KNOW WHO YOU MIGHT CATCH IN OUR INTIMATE ACOUSTIC LISTENING ROOMS.
