Join us for an inspiring afternoon of live music as Live Music Center proudly presents its Summer Showcase at Journey Downtown!

This special performance celebrates the hard work, dedication, and talent of local young musicians who have spent their summer developing their skills through Live Music Center's rock camps and music programs. From first-time performers to experienced young artists, these students have been learning, rehearsing, and growing together—and now they're ready to take the stage.

Throughout the summer, participants have explored guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and vocals while building confidence, learning how to perform as a band, and discovering what it takes to put on an incredible live show. This showcase is the culmination of weeks of practice, creativity, and collaboration, featuring students from:

  • Intro to Rock Instruments I & II

  • Jr. Rock Camp (Ages 7–9)

  • Jr. Rock Camp (Ages 10–12)

  • Intermediate Teen Rock Camp

  • Teen Rock Camp

From classic rock favorites to modern hits, you'll experience an afternoon filled with energy, passion, and the next generation of local musicians.

Come cheer on these talented performers as they take the historic Clark Theatre stage and celebrate everything they've accomplished this summer.

Originally opened in 1926 as The Clark Theatre, Journey Downtown is Journey Coffee Co's all inclusive third wave coffee shop, restaurant, and performance venue in the revitalized Downtown Vacaville theater.

The theater features a state-of-the-art sound system and capacity of up to 450 guests, bringing music, shows, parties, and community events to life right on main street.

Since it’s reopening in 2021, the Journey Downtown Theater has become a must-see Vacaville favorite, attracting touring artists, performers, and fans alike from all over the US.
