Description

As the iconic voice who contributed to multiple Zappa ensembles, Ike Willis is best known as the voice of Joe from Joe's Garage. Holding the title of the musician who spent the most years making music with Frank, Willis' unmistakeable baritone voice helped breathe life into many of Frank's most enduring compositions over the course of 10 years and 10+ albums. Decades later, Ike's voice is as strong as ever and brings an immediate sense of familiarity to the music of the Stinkfoot Orchestra.

Incorporating a 6-piece horn section, tuned percussion and 5 vocalists, this 15-piece ensemble pulls no punches - delivering Frank's music with power, authenticity and musical prowess. Founded by 35-year veteran of the SF Bay Area music scene, Nick Chargin, the Stinkfoot Orchestra has spent the last 2 and a half years honing their craft and are finally taking their long-awaited show to the stage. The Sunnyside Theatre is located in the historic 1909 masonic lodge and features the oldest bar top on the west coast.  The main bar is made up of three hand carved, mid-18th century square grand pianos that are unlike any bar you've ever seen and older then the statue of liberty.  With 1920's upright piano tables framing the original red brick wall, it gives off a rustic ambience that is truly one of a kind.   Brass trumpets, french horns, saxophones and trombones are suspended from the ceiling as light fixtures along with other refurbished instrument decor.  The rustic timber adds a warm touch to the art deco atmosphere, adding unforgettable elements to any performance.
