Liverpool Legends: The Complete Beatles Experience

Grammy-nominated and internationally acclaimed Liverpool Legends is a group of musicians and actors that portray The Beatles, who changed the course of the music industry forever. “Even though we are a rock ‘n roll band, we are surrounded by a big Broadway-esque production,” said Marty Scott, founder and manager of Liverpool Legends.

In 2023 this group received the Travelers’ Choice Award by TripAdvisor, placing them in the top 10% of attractions worldwide.

Many tribute acts try to recreate the sound and the harmonies of the Fab Four, but Liverpool Legends takes it to another level. All four band members have mastered the looks, mannerisms, and the thick Liverpool accent, that makes the experience totally authentic. In addition, Liverpool Legends seem to possess the personalities of John, George, Paul and Ringo, which make the lighthearted banter with the audience irresistible!

The talent in this group was hand-picked by Louise Harrison, sister of the late George Harrison of The Beatles. Louise's involvement in Liverpool Legends makes them the ONLY Beatles tribute band with a direct family link to the original Beatles. "Each member of the group is so close to the originals that I often feel like I'm transported back in time with the lads,” said Louise Harrison.

Marty Scott met Louise Harrison shortly after George passed away. In early 2002 he performed at a Chicago Beatles convention where she was the guest of honor. After hearing Marty sing, Louise approached him, saying they were meant to be in each other’s lives.

A week later, she introduced him to Paul McCartney, and Marty amazed them both with his impersonation of George Harrison. “From that moment on, my life has never been the same.”

After that fateful meeting, Louise and Marty decided to recruit the best possible talent and form The Liverpool Legends. “We auditioned likely characters from all over the world until we found the very best musicians/actors. Then in 2006 we opened our own Yellow Submarine-shaped theater in Branson, Missouri.”

In Branson, Liverpool Legends spent many years playing thousands of shows, five shows every week. There they were awarded Best Band, Best Show, Best Tribute Show and received the prestigious Visitors’ Choice Award for Entertainer of The Year.

Their show is a complete musical history of The Beatles, going through the years from album to album, all narrated by Louise Harrison. It starts with the early mop-top hits such as I Want To Hold Your Hand, She Loves You, and Twist and Shout. You’ll then take a Magical Mystery Tour down Penny Lane, through the era of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Then you’ll Come Together and sing and dance to classics like Get Back, Here Comes the Sun, and Hey Jude

Liverpool Legends, along with Louise Harrison, were Grammy-nominated for their work on "Fab Fan Memories- a Beatles Bond.”

Internationally acclaimed Liverpool Legends, have toured all over world with recent sold out performances in The U.S., Mexico, India, Israel, Ukraine, Chile and Ecuador.

Liverpool Legends have headlined at the prestigious Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA, in front of 68,000 people (an audience larger than The Beatles performed for at Shea Stadium!).

They also received national attention when they re-created The Beatles famed 1966 concert at Busch Stadium in St. Louis.

Liverpool Legends have headlined at the world-famous Carnegie Hall in New York City, where The Beatles performed in 1964 right after the Ed Sullivan Show

More recently, Liverpool Legends was chosen over every other Beatles Tribute band in the world by top television and film producer Jerry Bruckheimer (CSI, Top Gun, Pirates of The Caribbean, National Treasure) to portray the Beatles.

The Barnhill Center

Built-in 1925, in the grand architectural style of Beaux-Arts Classical Revival, the Simon Theatre provided a splendid setting for many theatrical performances, film screenings and ballroom dances. The James Simon family commissioned Houston architect Alfred C. Finn, whose career included designing a number of prominent Houston buildings as well as the San Jacinto Monument, to design the theatre for the community of Brenham. Today, after a meticulous million-plus dollar renovation, the glamour and grand style lives on for future generations in the newly named Barnhill Center at Historic Simon Theatre.
