Description

The WORLD PREMIERE of local playwright Jonathan Cook's LOBSTER MAN. This play was originally written as a 10-minute play and that short version premiered in our Quickies Play Festival back in 2011. And now, over a decade later, after being workshopped and developed into a full-length play, we present to you the extended version of ... LOBSTER MAN!!!

A post-apocalyptic play about rediscovering human connection and "mono no aware" - the beauty of impermanence and things passing.
"Mark and Christa, two survivors of a post-apocalyptic world, struggle with whether they are the last two people alive. As her health deteriorates, Christa urges Mark to travel and explore and hopefully discover others, but he is reluctant to leave their comfort zone. When a mysterious stranger arrives at their residence one day, Mark is unprepared for the invitation he offers Christa."

NO REFUNDS, NO EXCHANGES. Must be present at start of show or your ticket is forfeit.

Le Chat Noir
Le Chat Noir (The Black Cat) is an intimate 60-100 seat theatre with attached lobby and full service bar that echoes a 19th century cabaret after one too many absinthes. Like it’s namesake, Le Chat Noir exists to produce and present entertainment to the CSRA that was previously not being offered.
