GET ON THE BUS TO TORONTO - Tickets are now available for buses from Hamilton and London to the Regional Nakba Day Rally in Downtown Toronto on May 17th.
Nakba Day marks the anniversary of the great catastrophe, when up to one million Palestinians were forcibly displaced from their homes, separated from their families and exiled from returning. For 77 years, the Palestinian people have endured genocide, dispossession, and forced displacement at the hands of the Zionist colonial project. And for 77 years - they have resisted!
While our people in Gaza continue to fight for their land, freedom and right of return, the newly-elected Canadian government continues to refuse to impose a two-way arms embargo against Israel. While western governments stand complicit, Israel continues to attack hospitals and schools, and has blocked all entry of food, water and medical supplies into Gaza. As the genocide in Gaza intensifies, violence in the West Bank escalates, and attacks on our movement grow, now is the time to show that the masses stand with Palestine.
Commemorating Nakba Day goes beyond remembrance—it’s about demonstrating unity, solidarity, and continued commitment to the work that lies ahead. That work starts with mobilizing and organizing for a free Palestine.
BUS INFORMATION
We are a grassroots organization, and with that comes a lot of costs that we try to cover through community funding. The buses and many other things for this march, as well as future projects, are funded by the community. If you have the means to support, we give the option to donate or to pymtoronto@gmail.com, you are always welcome to contribute. The ticket cost is a minimum of $35 or pay what you can to help cover for someone else.
