With the backdrop of the world’s largest collection of working antique presses, the Printers Fair brings together 125+ artistic vendors, and more than 2,100 visitors to experience the creative worlds of beautiful printing and handmade books.
The Printers Fair is specifically intended to uplift letterpress printing, traditional printmaking processes, and the creative worlds of papermaking and the book arts. We strive for an emphasis on the handmade and minimize the digital. Exhibitors include many of the greatest letterpress and printmaking artists in the Southwest and beyond, offering custom posters, printings, hand-printed cards, memorabilia, hand-made paper, and antiquarian books for sale.
To ensure that the LA Printers Fair to ensure stays true to its mission, we'll review a vendor’s social media handle(s), website(s), and images of what they intend to vend before sending the official confirmation. If the curator determines that a vendor’s work falls outside this mission for the Printers Fair, they will be issued a refund.
All proceeds from the Printers Fair benefit the International Printing Museum, a non-profit institution dedicated to the heritage, preservation, and advancement of the printing arts.

The International Printing Museum, in Carson, California, has one of the largest collections of antique printing presses in the United States. We offer educational programs for school groups at the Museum, and also have a Colonial-style printing press on a trailer that can travel to schools and public events for living history programs.
