Love Stories for Adults - Sunday October 10, 2021  -  3pm

Join the Griots' Circle of Maryland for an entertaining afternoon of storytelling for adults.  During this virtual program, the dynamic storytellers will share stories about "The Universal Power Of Love".  Mama Linda Goss will open the show and Griot Kay Merrill will emcee the program.  The performers are Mama Victoria Smith, Baba Simba Mollock, Diana Veiga, Baba Bunjo Butler, Renee Emanuel, and Patricia Smart.  This annual fundraising event can now be enjoyed by story lovers near and far.  For more information about us, visit our website - https://www.griotscircleofmarylandinc.org/

Griots' Circle of Maryland

       African griots (pronounced gree´ o), the historians and storytellers for their community, inspired Maryland’s afrocentric storytellers to create the Griots’ Circle of Maryland, Inc.  The primary goal of the association is to educate and enrich the storytelling knowledge and abilities of the members and the community.  This non-profit organization is dedicated to uplifting the folklore and traditions of our African heritage through storytelling, poetry, music, and other educational activities.  The Griots’ Circle of Maryland is an affiliate of the National Association of Black Storytellers.
