Description
A creative floral workshop. 1 day masterclass exploring what inspired use as floral artist from nature and the landscape around us, and how we can translate that inspiration into floral art and creativity to fill our homes.
9:30am Arrival Time; walk the gardens with Lucy and Amy, to discuss inspiration and creativity from the gardens to creativity in the floral and professional world.
This is followed with a demonstration by Lucy, creating a sustainable centerpiece in handmade compotes (a compote is a bowl on a footing).
Lunch will be included, and after lunch you will have the opportunity to create your own floral masterpiece, using local, seasonal florals, in a compote, which is yours to take home.
A discussion on styling, chasing the light, and photography will follow, including a demonstration with Lucy's centerpiece.
We will then photograph all of your work, and photos will be provided at a later date.
