Lunch and Learn: Mental Health in the Jewish Community 🙋

  • December 9, 2025 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM
  • Stephen Wise Free Synagogue

    30 West 68th Street
    New York, New York 10023
Description

As the Jewish community navigates antisemitism and uncertainty, understanding the mental health needs of Jews today has never been more important.

Join the Women's Organization of Stephen Wise Free Synagogue for a conversation with Dr. Tara Liberman, founder and executive director of the Jewish Community Mental Health Initiative (JCMHI). Dr. Liberman will share insights from her mental health advocacy on behalf of the Jewish community — including the post-October 7 response and intergenerational trauma.

You'll walk away with a deeper understanding of how to strengthen communal dialogue, resilience and hope within your community.

Soup will be served.

Please bring packaged sanitary pads to this event; the National Council of Jewish Women will distribute them to women in need!
