1010 Dale Street NorthWhile hand cut dovetails have long been the "show off" joint in woodworking, machine cut dovetails are the practical workhorse in drawer and case construction. The Tool Library has two machine cut dovetail setups in St. Paul which instructor John Lunde will teach participants how to correctly and effectively use. With correct instruction you can turn out professional level half blind dovetail joints with these complex machines fairly rapidly.
About the Instructor: With 15 years experience as a professional furniture maker and a manager of an architectural woodworking shop, John Lunde is excited to share his skills and pass along his knowledge to the MTL community.
