Story:
Sofia learns that Maddi's family doesn't have enough money to fill their fridge and promises Maddi she'll keep this discovery a secret. But because Sofia wants to help her friend, she's faced with a difficult decision: to keep her promise or tell her parents about Maddi's empty fridge. Maddi's Fridge addresses issues of poverty with honesty and sensitivity while instilling important lessons in friendship, empathy, trust, and helping others.

Storybook Family Playhouse
Our purpose is to present as many works based off of books as we possibly can. We are pleased to present "Maddi's Fridge", with permission by Plays for New Audiences. Show is most appropriate for 5-12yr olds, though younger and older are always welcome. We do not recommend infants and toddlers attend as it is a play with more serious undertones, but if necessary, under 3 may attend as a lapchild at no extra cost. 3 and older require a ticket. Concessions will be available for purchase before and after each performance. Doors will open 10-15 minutes prior to each performance. Parking is street parking and meter parking. If there are other classes or performances at the same time, parking could take a moment, so please do allow time. Note that there are FOUR venues in the building, you are looking for the Second Stage. Late arrivals may need to wait for admittance, as there is not much space separating the stage from the audience.
