Grab a seat and join us for Mahjong Open Play at Idle Thyme Farm—a fun, social night of mahjong in a beautiful setting, made for players who already know the game and just want to play.

 

We’ll be playing with Oh My Mahjong tiles and mats, so you’ll get hands-on time with these beautiful, modern sets while enjoying great vibes and even better company.

 

This is open play, not a lesson, but I’ll be there throughout the event to answer rule questions, help clarify any card confusion, and keep things running smoothly.

 

Please bring your own 2026 NMJL card. Don’t worry if you forget it. I’ll have spares on hand, just in case.

 

A few things to know:

• Players should already know how to play American Mahjong

• This event is not intended for brand-new beginners, as no formal instruction will be provided

• Food and drinks are available for purchase through Idle Thyme Farm.
