Description

Your donation directly fuels the high adventure program that defines the Troop 390 experience. As a youth-led unit based in San Jose, we believe the most profound lessons in leadership, resilience, and teamwork are learned on the trail, in a kayak, or under the stars. Your contributions help lower the costs of these excursions—from skiing and snow camping to long-distance cycling and hiking—ensuring that these life-changing opportunities remain accessible to all our scouts, regardless of their background. By supporting these trips, you aren’t just funding an outing; you are investing in a program that empowers young men and women to master new skills and grow into confident leaders through the spirit of adventure.

BSA Troop 390

Troop 390 is dedicated to empowering scouts through a well-rounded, "youth-led" program of fun adventures, skills development, leadership opportunities, and community service activities. While many Troop 390 scouts advance to the rank of Eagle, our program provides a positive scouting experience regardless of rank advancement. We love to build, kayak, cycle, hike, ski, snow camp, and more - we're always up for new adventures! Every outing is a learning experience for both outdoor and teamwork skills. We participate in community service activities - individually and as a troop. Troop 390 is a scout-led, adult-guided unit, and parent involvement is a key to our success.

  • Troop 390 is sponsored by St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in San Jose, CA. We welcome boys and girls of all religious faiths.
  • Our troop meetings are held weekly on Friday evenings from 7:30 - 9:00 pm in the St. Martin of Tours Community Building.
