Description

Spring is just around the corner! We'll be making a skin-nourishing, beautifully aromatic hand scrub for after working in the garden (or repotting your indoor plants, if you don't garden). Taught by Certified Aromatherapist Jennifer Lombard of Earth and Aether Aromatherapy!

You will make a 2 oz jar of salt scrub with fine-grain pink Himalayan salt, jojoba oil*, and essential oils. You can choose from an essential oil "recipe" or make your own blend. I will provide some information and handouts about the ingredients and safe use of essential oils. This is not an essential oil sales event, so there will be no sales pressure. My mission as a certified aromatherapist and essential oil educator is to counter the mis-information about essential oils, and to teach how you can benefit from them safely. If you do want information on where to source ingredients, I can provide recommendations.

Your $20 ticket covers all materials (2 oz jar, pink Himalayan salt, jojoba oil*, essential oils), instruction, informational handouts, and light refreshments.

*Jojoba "oil" is actually a liquid wax, but usually referred to as an oil. If you have a sensitivity to jojoba, I will also have a smaller supply of marula oil on hand that you can substitute.
