About The Fenix Saga: Hi, my name is Nyrel. I am a single mother, a 17-year military veteran, a Brazilian Jiujitsu purple belt, a women’s firearms instructor, a sexual assault and domestic violence survivor, and a long-time practicing Buddhist. I started Fenix Saga as a tribute to my daughter. Mala making has always been a peaceful pastime for me, I am excited to share the skill with others in hopes it will enrich their life as it has mine.
