Description
Mother's Day is coming, and there's no better way to celebrate than by making something you'll treasure forever. This beginner-friendly embroidery workshop with Jessi of By Jessi Gray is your chance to slow down, treat yourself, and stitch a truly one-of-a-kind keepsake, whether you're making it for your mom, your grandma, or yourself.
In this class, you'll customize a sweatshirt with the word of your choice at the collar (think: mom, nana, grandma, mama, etc.) and add the kids' or grandkids' names at the wrist for that extra special touch. No embroidery experience needed!
What you'll learn:
How to place and transfer lettering onto a sweatshirt
Easy, beginner-friendly stitches for lettering
How to finish your piece and keep stitching at home
What you'll make:
A hand-embroidered sweatshirt personalized with a collar word and names at the wrist, a keepsake she (or you!) will wear and love
IMPORTANT: You can bring your own sweatshirt to embroider, or add on one of the fun springtime color options available at registration. Cotton (or cotton blend) sweatshirts work best. Stretchy fabrics are not recommended and can be tricky to stitch.
What's provided:
Lots of thread colors to choose from
All embroidery tools including needles, hoops and threaders, yours to take home to keep stitching!
Step-by-step guidance so you never feel lost
Food and drinks will available for purchase from Cushwa!
