Waiver Required Before Participating
All volunteers must complete the waiver before receiving equipment:
Clean the Block – 5th Ward Community Cleanup
Clean the Block is a monthly community initiative restoring pride and cleanliness across Houston neighborhoods. Volunteers work together to remove illegal dumping, trash, and debris from streets, sidewalks, and vacant lots.
This will be our first cleanup outside of Sunnyside/South Park, and we’re excited to bring the movement to 5th Ward.
All cleanup supplies will be provided, including gloves, trash bags, tools, and dumpsters from Waste Management.
Parking
Parking is available:
• Behind Greater Mount Calvary Praise & Worship Church
3218 Quitman St.
• Empty lot at 3103 Quitman St.
• Parking row directly left of 3103 Quitman
Additional street parking is available on Quitman St. and Gregg St.
Parking volunteers will be assisting as you arrive.
We expect 100+ volunteers, so carpooling or ridesharing is encouraged.

Raffle
Volunteers will have a chance to win Rodeo tickets during the event.
You must be present at the end of the cleanup to win.
