Marine Debris as Muse: Creative Workshop

In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore the environmental impacts of marine debris through a combination of discussion, learning, and art. We will begin by examining the causes and effects of marine debris on ocean ecosystems, retracing the track of materials from use to debris. After the educational session, participants will channel their creativity by using colorful pieces of debris collected from local beaches to create unique, thought-provoking collages.

The Cannon Beach Commercial Club, incorporated on February 19, 1945, formed the Cannon Beach Chamber on October 3, 1968. The Chamber serves local businesses and visitors year-round.
