Description

Marsha and the Positrons shows are playful, educational, and entertaining for all ages! Marsha's clever, energetic, upbeat songs mix science facts with messages about kindness and friendship! This kindie (kids + indie rock) band is led by Marsha Goodman-Wood, singer/songwriter, Wolf Trap teaching artist, and former cognitive neuroscientist who combines her enthusiasm for learning with her bubbly personality and award-winning musicianship!


The Washington Post says this DC-based kindie (kids + indie) band is "...among the Washington area's most creative and distinctive" children's musicians. Sing and dance along to their "...jazz-flavored, poppy rock sound" and "delightfully catchy" songs with "engaging lyrics" that inspire curiosity about science and bring smiles to all ages!

Tickets required for all ages 2 and up. Ticket price includes credit card processing fees. There are no additional fees for cash transactions.

Refund & Exchange Policy:

Tickets are non-refundable and all sales are final. However, you may exchange your tickets for a future show within three months if you contact the Box Office within 48 hours of your missed show. Exchange fees will apply.

 

Inclement Weather Policy:

In the event that Glen Echo Park is closed due to inclement weather or other factors that make the site unsafe or unaccessible, performances at the Puppet Co Playhouse will be canceled. Ticket holders will have the opportunity to exchange to another show without a fee, or receive a refund for the canceled show.

 

About the Puppet Co.

Our mission is to create and support puppetry performances for all, with a focus on developing young imaginations. We are a home for the cultivation and preservation of puppetry arts for the next generation of puppeteers and audiences.

 

As a Center for Exploration of the Puppet Arts, the Puppet Co. brings professional puppetry performances to its audience along with supporting puppetry education through classes, workshops, demonstrations, publications, and exhibitions.
