In this exclusive tour you will dive deep into the history of Marvel Comics from 1939-today as presented by our curator, Director, and founder Allen Stewart, one of the foremost comic book historians. We'll explore the the creators, the artists, the heroes, and the villains. We'll discuss Marvel comics, toys, television, animation, and movies from 1944's Captain America serial to the latest films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This 90 minute event includes a personally guided tour through Marvel history, viewing the top 5 rarest Marvel comic books from our archives (including the rare Captain America #1 from 1941), the Marvel Movie Experience (photos on the 2007 Ghost Rider motorcycle, the Shelby Cobra from 2008’s Iron Man, and a photo with Captain America's shield), and a Hall of Heroes souvenir comic book autographed by Allen.
