Description
On Thursday, August 27, join us in commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Long Island and the Maryland 400—the courageous soldiers whose sacrifice helped earn Maryland its nickname, The Old Line State.
We’ll be joined by two members of the Maryland National Guard unit that traces their lineage directly to the very unit that fought in the Battle of Long Island. Murray Small, SGM, MDNG, will take you through the lead-up, battle, and aftermath, all while sipping the new Maryland 400 Whiskey. Old Line co-founder Arch Watkins will take you through a guided tasting of the special blend of four Maryland whiskeys.
This will be a Quarterdeck experience you won’t want to miss. Maryland history and whiskey knowledge come together for one night at the distillery.
Tickets include a welcome cocktail and neat pour of Maryland 400 Whiskey.
