Description
The Coil & Cord Masked Rope Jam is a space to practice and play with rope bondage/shibari, get inspired by diverse rope styles and approaches, meet other rope enthusiasts, tie and/or be tied — in a COVID-conscious environment.
Masks are required for all attendees. This event is designed for community members who are COVID and illness-conscious and value reducing transmission risk in intimate, close-contact spaces.
All levels of rope experience, including absolute beginners, are warmly welcome!
Coil & Cord Studio has numerous hard points (including bamboo, single points, & vertical posts) available for suspension, plus plenty of cozy mats for floor tying.
Attend solo or with a tying partner or several. We welcome solo attendees and encourage making connections at the jam.
What to Bring: A well-fitting mask (N95/KN95 recommended) is required! Please bring rope & a cutting tool if you have them, and any suspension gear you need if you plan to suspend. Jute & POSH rope are available for purchase.
Same-day negative COVID test is very strongly encouraged.
