Ages 8-12 (20 spots) & 13-16 (20 spots)

Le Chat Noir is once again putting on Matagot's School of Stagecraft and Puppetry, June 17 through June 21st with a recital on Saturday the 22nd. This year we will be experimenting with black light theatre, flea circuses, foam carving, and we're adding some flow arts with Mrs. Hewie so we can burn off some of that energy. Of course, there will be puppet making and manipulation, along with some of our favorites from last year.

The days:
8a-830a Drop Off
830a-9a Theatre Assembly (example of the day's lessons)
9a-1030a Class
1030a-12n Class

1p-230p Class

On Saturday June 22nd there will be a one hour recital showcasing what students worked on that week.

Register online and purchase their spot. (Registration is $150) We will send you necessary forms, you fill them out, and send back. Show up on time the day of and be ready to get silly.

Students will be required to wear closed toe shoes and clothes that they can get messy and allow freedom of movement.
There will be homework, but it will be fun. A list of suggested items to bring (like they would to school i.e. pencil, ruler, scissors, etc.) will be sent with registration form.

Le Chat Noir
Le Chat Noir (The Black Cat) is an intimate 60-100 seat theatre with attached lobby and full service bar that echoes a 19th century cabaret after one too many absinthes. Like it’s namesake, Le Chat Noir exists to produce and present entertainment to the CSRA that was previously not being offered.
