Step into the magical, mischievous world of Matilda JR with our Intermediate Musical Theatre performers ages 10–18! This talented ensemble brings Roald Dahl’s iconic story to life. Packed with high-energy dance numbers and catchy songs, Matilda JR. is a joyous romp. Children and adults alike will be thrilled and delighted by the story of the special little girl with an extraordinary imagination.
Matilda has astonishing wit, intelligence... and special powers! She's unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly loveable Miss Honey. Matilda's school life isn't completely smooth sailing, however – the school's mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don't abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts, and could be the school pupils' saving grace!
This production runs approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and is suitable for all ages, making it a fantastic family outing filled with humour, heart, and a little bit of rebellion—just like Matilda herself.
Snacks and treats will be available at our CCPAC concession, with all proceeds going directly back into supporting Curtain Call Performing Arts Company programs and productions. There are no exchanges or refunds for tickets.
