For more than 300 years, the Melick family has been caring for the land, growing fresh fruit, and welcoming generations of families to experience life on the farm. Today, Melick’s Town Farm remains one of New Jersey’s largest family-run orchards with more than 25,000 apple trees and thousands of peach, nectarine, plum, and pear trees spread across 650 beautiful acres in Hunterdon County.
Operated by 10th generation farmers Peter, Rebecca, and John Melick, the farm continues a tradition that began in the early 1700s when the Melick family first settled in the area. From picking your own apples and pumpkins in the fall to strawberries, peaches, flowers, and family activities throughout the growing season, Melick’s Town Farm offers visitors a chance to slow down, make memories, and experience an authentic New Jersey farm that has been part of the community for centuries.
