If you don’t remember the iconic Mean Girls line that sparked romance between Cady Heron and Aaron Samuels, where have you been for the last 18 years? (That’s right, if Mean Girls were a human, she’d be able to legally buy cigarettes. Sorry to do that to y’all, millennials.)

Unlike the word “fetch,” the internet totally made Mean Girls Day happen, and now fans everywhere celebrate October 3rd with pink outfits, cheese fries, toaster strudel, 3-way calls, Taco Bell, and memes. So. Many. Memes. But instead of scrolling the same GIFs you’ve seen a million times, why not celebrate with other people who are in crisis about 2004 being almost two decades ago???

Now The Broadside is throwing a Mean Girls Day party to put Cady’s Halloween rager to shame, and it’d be social suicide for you to not be there.

Make up an entry for the interactive Burn Book! (You let it out, honey…put it in the book.)

Enjoy drink specials inspired by June George! (If you’re gonna drink, we’d rather you do it in the house.)

Test your fandom with movie trivia! (And there’s nothing to break your focus, ‘cuz not one of those Marymount guys is cute.)

Enter the costume contest for a chance to take home a prize! (Yes, you’re allowed to dress like a total slut and no one is allowed to say anything.)

And of course, the main event, Mean Girls on the delightful outdoor big screen (line-yelling encouraged!).
