Year 34 taught me just how important it is to celebrate the gift of life, cherish your village, and cultivate your talent! Year 35 I plan to do ALLAT!!
It would be my privilege if you would join me as I celebrate a milestone birthday in the only way I know how: with elevated ratchecity and good vibes!!
There will be more details to come, but these are the TOP 5 THINGS TO KNOW RIGHT NOW:
- IT’S A PARTY++: this event will be more than just an unforgettable celebration! For the first time, I will display my paintings as part of an art exhibition for your enjoyment!
- VENUE: absent inclement weather, this is an outdoors event! While there will be accommodations to ensure your comfort, please dress for the weather (and planned likka consumption)!
- DRESS CODE: white linen attire is mandatory!! Pure white. Bone white. Off white. Betty White. Doesn’t matter! Just white and linen. Ya show up in a Canadian Tuxedo, I’ll bring you a to-go plate when we wrap up! DPMO. lol
- ADMISSION: this is a ticketed event! Tickets for a birthday party is crazy right? Though the good vibes alone are worth the cost of admission, delicious delicacies and top shelf liquor (and security!) will be provided! No need to BYOB!!! My suggestion: don’t wait until the last minute to buy! To ensure a high quality experience for all, attendance has a HARD CAP.
- LIFT WHILE WE CLIMB: though I appreciate those who may wish to bring a gift, please consider making a charitable donation to The Village Network—a local nonprofit that works to uplift, inspire, and support black and brown boys through academic, social, and character-building programming initiatives. I will match the total donation amount, up to $500 all donors will be entered for a chance to win a certified print of a Sumner Paints artwork. All donors will be acknowledged during toast.
