Woodland RoadOona Hyland is one of the 2025 recipients of the Ushaw residency and acquisition prize awarded in conjunction with the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair.
Currently spending her residency at Ushaw, Oona will give an artist talk on Thursday 5 June at 6pm when she will discuss her work and her initial responses to her time at Ushaw.
Oona is an Irish artist who explores the intersections of art, politics and history. Her works range from prints, paintings, mixed media, installations and sculptures.
