600 Main StreetMake your summer revolutionary! Join Philippe Halbert, Richard Koopman Associate Curator of American Decorative Arts, for a special co-sponsored members' brunch and tour of Americana with our neighbors in Hartford, the Wadsworth Atheneum. View the recently conserved Wetmore Parlor and our newly opened spotlight exhibition, Made in Hartford: A Capital City Creates. The tour will end with a visit to New Nation, Many Hands to view a meticulous hand-made replica of a gown worn by "first" First Lady Martha Washington.
WDS members are welcome to tour the museum on their own at the conclusion of the event. Registration is required and limited for this program.
