Join the Rhode Island Historical Society on Tuesday, October 13th, at 5:30pm for a member-exclusive tour of North Burial Ground.

North Burial Ground’s Program Coordinator, Thomas Lesichner will lead this tour of the 18th century parts of the burial ground and “meet” some of the people who lived through the American Revolution and early federal period. You’ll stop by signers of the Declaration of Independence, Gaspee Raiders, and Patriot Post officers, but you’ll also get to know some of the folks who lived ordinary lives through an extraordinary period in American History.

The tour will take about an hour and fifteen minutes and cover about a mile of walking on uneven terrain. Wear steady shoes and dress for the weather. We’ll depart from the Rochambeau Gate which is located on North Main Street, next to the R1 bus stop.
