Description

The Museum of Natural History in Roger Williams Park is Rhode Island’s only natural history museum and home to the state’s only public planetarium. For over a century, the museum has served as a unique educational, scientific, and cultural resource by offering exciting exhibits and programming for children and families to learn about our world and its people. The museum houses more than a quarter million (250,000) objects, and only 1% of the collections are on exhibit. Join us for a tour of the Museum's underworld - the basement vaults. If you are tantalized by what you have seen on exhibit, come visit the 99% you have not seen. Do not miss this rare chance to explore the collections in storage in this behind-the-scenes vault tour!
