Join the Rhode Island Historical Society on Thursday, November 13th, at 10am for a Member-Exclusive Tour of the Culinary Arts Museum at Johnson & Wales University.

An extension of JWU Library, the Culinary Arts Museum on Johnson & Wales University’s Harborside Campus stores and exhibits hundreds of thousands of historic artifacts associated with the fields of culinary arts, food studies, and hospitality. There are currently sixteen curriculum-driven exhibits on display.

The Culinary Arts Museum Tour and Tasting will include a walking tour of the exhibits with a professional staff member, a treat provided by JWU Catering, and time to revisit an exhibit or two on your own. The tour will include highlights from the collection honoring the nation’s 250th anniversary on July 4th, 2026: community cookbooks showcasing the organizations and people of Rhode Island. 

The tasting includes complimentary sweet treats and house-brewed seasonal chilled tea.
