Join the Rhode Island Historical Society on Thursday, January 22 at 10am for a member-exclusive tour of First Baptist Church led by Reverend Jamie Washam and historian Stan Lemons.

Roger Williams gathered the First Baptist Church in America in 1638 on the bedrock of religious liberty, with its principles of soul freedom and the separation of church and state. Guests will hear stories about the church's founding, development, and preservation over the years, leading it to become the Providence icon it is today.
