Description

Imagine a time when scientists thought the Earth was rigid and unchanging. Then came a revolutionary idea that would completely rewrite our understanding of our planet. In the early 1900s, Alfred Wegener noticed something extraordinary - continents looked like they could fit together like a giant jigsaw puzzle. He proposed that all landmasses were once part of a single supercontinent called Pangaea.  But here's the twist: most scientists laughed at his idea! It wasn't until the mid-20th century that geologists began to take his theory of continental drift seriously. Two critical discoveries changed everything.  Come unravel the mysteries of our planet's incredible geological journey, and learn how plate tectonics became the accepted theory in the late 1950's and early 60's.
