There is something magical about Christmas the way it used to feel. The excitement of the lights, the warmth of family gathered together, the sound of horses pulling a wagon, and the simple joy of being together without the distractions of everyday life.
At Merry & Bright Wagon Rides at Bar 21 Ranch, we want to bring a little of that magic back.
Join us for a nostalgic Christmas experience here on our real, working ranch, where thousands of twinkling lights, beautiful draft horses, and the peaceful rhythm of a wagon ride come together to create something special. Bundle up, climb aboard, and let Ray and Richie take you on a memorable ride through our Christmas wonderland. Enjoy the glow of the lights, sip a cup of hot chocolate, and take a moment to slow down and soak in the wonder of the season.
This is about so much more than just Christmas lights. It is about making memories with your children while they are still little. It is about grandparents sharing stories, families laughing together, and friends making time for one another. It is about creating traditions your children will remember long after they have grown, and giving your family a reason to put the phones away and simply enjoy being together.

Ride information:
Rides will come every 15 minutes to pick up the next load, your individual ride will last approximately 30 min. Each wagon can hold about 10 people. If your party does not fill the wagon, you will share with another party to make sure our wagon weights are consistent for the horses.
**All dates and times on your ticket are only changeable until 24 hours before your ride, so double check before you place your order.
Adults are 16 and older, Children 3-15 years old, including all fees that apply. 0-3 are free as long as they are on the lap of a parent.
*We have added weekend and weekday pricing and a few additional days with something special!
ALL individuals 18 years and older must sign their own waiver before getting on the wagon. Please come 10 minute before your scheduled time to check in and sign. Thank you! Waivers will be emailed with your tickets and booking confirmation. Please follow the link and have each individual sign the waiver before checking in the night of your ride.
**no food or beverages allowed on the wagon ride. You’re welcome to finish whatever you have upon arrival around our waiting area, then pick up your complimentary hot chocolate back at the shed after.
New dates this year!!
December 5 is our Christmas in America night! Each wagon will receive an ornament honoring the many men, women, and horses who have helped make this nation so great.
Youth group night where any school, church, or sport group gets discounted tickets at $10 per person! Contact Jess or Ken Lym to schedule.
December 10 is our new Sweethearts night! Grab your sweetheart and join us for a Christmas wagon ride, followed up with hot chocolate and a prime rib dinner and, of course, dessert! One ticket will include a prime rib dinner and wagon ride for two for only $120! Wagon rides will be joined with other couples, but private wagons may be reserved for an additional price when you contact us. We will cap this at 50 couples so don’t hesitate to book your tickets! Remember ONE ticket is for ONE couple!
***Please remember to dress warmly as it will be outside. We keep Minky Couture blankets on the wagons to use on your ride, but feel free to bring extras.
We will have bathroom facilities on site if needed.
Please also remember to tip the teamsters! They and the horses are out all night and day to bring us this magical ride!
*We are now renting our tents out! $75 for the first hour, rental will start as your ride is ending. Call us to book your tent for family or business parties, youth nights, engagements, etc!
We serve complimentary hot chocolate to every ticket, and sell cookies from our favorite smalltown baker, Kooke! We have Hammonds candy canes and caramels for sell as well so come with a sweet tooth!

The Bar 21 Ranch- Where we bring new friends to old traditions!
Waivers: all participants must sign a waiver. 16 years and under must have a parent/guardian present to sign waiver. Please come 10 min before your scheduled time to check in and sign. These will be emailed to you in your ticket confirmation email and easy to fill out digitally! EACH person must sign, adults will sign for minors.
Cancelations: full refund only if canceled within 48 hours of wagon ride. No refunds or discounts for wrong date picked, inclement weather, sickness, or anything else unless The Bar 21 cancels wagon rides for any reason they seem fit. Please reach out to us if you are unable to make it, and we will review how we can help in a case by case basis.
The scheduled time is the time your wagon rolls out to see the lights. If you are 5 minutes late or more, your wagon ride will not be guaranteed.
