The class will be in the Peosta Community Centre Kitchen
Let your child join the fiesta and let their culinary creativity shine! Class Ideal for kids 7-9 yrs old. The little chefs will embark on a journey of discovery! First they will learn about kitchen safety, then they will learn about the history of the food and its cultural significance, before they discover the vibrant flavors of Mexican cuisine. From scratch, they'll roll up their sleeves and prepare traditional corn tortillas chips, craft flavorful dips, assemble mouthwatering quesadillas, and whip up refreshing agua fresca drinks. It's a hands-on experience filled with fun, learning, and plenty of delicious food! Kids may take home leftover food.
