Description
Create colorful, one-of-a-kind mosaic ornaments in this fun two-part workshop! Choose from a variety of shapes, such as birds, houses, turtles, bees, butterflies, mushrooms, survivor ribbons, and more (make 2). During the first session, you’ll learn how to nip and cut glass, arrange your pieces to create your design, and attach them to a durable acrylic base.
Return for the second session to learn the finishing process as you grout your mosaic and bring your design to life. You’ll also receive a small take-home kit with supplies and instructions for sealing your finished piece and adding a ribbon or string for hanging.
Sizes vary slightly by design and are approximately 3-4". In this workshop, you will choose and make 2.
Day 1 - Saturday 9/19 - 10:00 am - 12:30 pm (instruction, glass cutting, design and glueing)
Day 2 - Sunday 9/20 - 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm (drop in for grouting - plan for about 1 hour)
No mosaic experience is needed. Come ready to create a charming ornament for your home, a handmade gift, or a colorful little piece of art to display year-round.

Attendees must be at least 18 years of age, or 15 if participating with a parent or legal guardian.
Proper attire is required for all class participants. You will need to wear closed toe shoes, socks and long pants.
Protective eyewear will be provided, but feel free to bring your own safety goggles if you prefer.
Each class will begin with a review of studio safety and proper glass cutting and handling techniques.
Refund policy: We require a 48-hour (2-day) cancellation notice in order to issue a refund. If you do not cancel at least 48-hours in advance, no refund will be issued.
