Learn the pros & cons of miter joints, how to measure and cut a miter using hand and power tools, options for reinforcing the joint, and tips/tricks for troubleshooting those imperfections.
The class will cover the butt joint with fasteners, spline miter, half lap miter, bridle joint miter, and doweled miter. Students will get hands-on practice making several of these using the drill, table saw and router, and learn what goes into building a picture frame.
