Description

Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy by helping to feed the hungry!

“The greatest birthday gift my husband could receive is if people of all racial and ethnic backgrounds celebrated the holiday by performing individual acts of kindness through service to others,” said Coretta Scott King, referring to her late husband Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Join us as we honor his legacy with a Shabbat of Service. Together, we’ll help feed our hungry neighbors by making sandwiches and packing meals to fill NYC Community Fridges. Ingredients will be provided.

We are also looking for volunteers to help drive meals to the NYC Community Fridges. If you are interested in driving, please email socialjustice@swfs.org.
