Description
Class dates: April 20, 27, May 4, 11, 18, 25.
This Beginner Wheel class is suitable for anyone over age 18 who is interested in learning how to throw on the pottery wheel.
Classes are every Monday from 6PM-8:30PM for 6 weeks, includes 2.5 hours of hands-on instruction each week, use of community tools, clay, and 7 finished pieces* each. Keep additional pieces* for $10 each (*7 inches tall or wide, whichever is larger).
About your teacher
Mika is a maker drawn to the quiet focus of throwing, that stillness when your hands are busy and your mind can rest. She loves that ceramics live in everyday life and that her art can be, even in a small way, a part of someone's daily routine.
