Monkey Business is a new, fun-filled Game Show/Variety Show by the theater company Monkey With a Hat On. The show is high-energy, silly and uplifting. For our 2nd Monkey Business, the whole show will be New Years Resolutions Themed!
Monkey Business will include:
Games!
Many who attend the show (if they want to!) at some point in the night will be called up to the stage to play in a variety of games to compete and win real prizes! The prizes are going to sometimes be ridiculous. However!... The last game in each of the halves will be for gift certificates to local businesses. Have you ever wanted to be on a game show? This is your chance!
Skits/Scenes/"Commercials" (like you're watching a TV special!)
Throughout the night in-between the games, we will be performing a comedic New Years Resolutions story about the new gym in town: “Slippy Jim's Gym!” This gym is specifically designed to not only to get you in shape, and help you achieve your New Years Resolutions, but also to provide gym members with all of their vices. There is also a competing gym in town run by the infamous Tom Traction. Which gym will the characters choose to join?
