MONKEY BUTLER creates a story of a world and then explores a bunch of different side stories associated with it, sort of like going down a rabbit hole on the internet and then getting distracted, then getting distracted again - then finding your way back to where your started... but you're changed for the better! That's Monkey Butler!

JOHNNY ANYBODY's play is silly and anarchic. They're a fast paced team who love to sprint through a whirlwind of characters, each bound together by an opening "thesis statement". They love building out new worlds with those characters and themes, but never take themselves too seriously to play a game, sing a song, or otherwise completely flip the script in the middle of it all. Their play is FUN FIRST, and everything else is gravy.

What If Theatre is dedicated to the art of improvisational theatre - which is a fancy way of saying, we do improvised plays. Not everything we do is funny. We aim for authenticity, but the truth comes first. The funny thing is: that usually means humor is close on its heels!
