Description

An inspiring evening as singer-songwriters Elizabeth Conant and Eileen Bernstein share their original songs and heartfelt stories about fulfilling life's hopes and dreams while navigating the beautiful complexity of being human.

Eileen Bernstein, an acclaimed Americana singer-songwriter, captivates audiences across the United States with her clever and heartfelt songs that chronicle a fascinating life well lived. With her background as a translator for the US Defense and Justice Departments, Eileen speaks multiple languages and infuses her music with rich experiences. Her songs have been featured on radio stations such as WRFN 107.1 FM, WHUS 91.7 FM, and WKLF 95.5 FM, and her hit "She's Got Her Way" was named VH1's Country Song of the Year. Eileen's music masterfully intertwines the poetic eminence of Jewel, the quirkiness of Sheryl Crow, and the power ballads of Journey, making her performances unforgettable. After nearly a decade in Nashville, TN, collaborating with top talent and playing at various showcases and festivals, Eileen continues to charm audiences with her unique sound.

Elizabeth Conant brings her own rich musical background to the stage, influenced by the Baroque sounds of her harpsichordist father. A jazz singer and band leader for over two decades, she has played, arranged, recorded, and toured from her Chicago home base. Following a move to rural upstate New York, Elizabeth took a hiatus to raise her son but found her solace and joy in songwriting as an empty-nester. With performances ranging from the Lilith Fair tour of '99 in front of 30,000 people to intimate shows in rural bars, Elizabeth considers herself fortunate to have shared her music with diverse audiences worldwide.

Together, Elizabeth and Eileen inspire the pursuit of dreams through their award-winning original music and stories, creating a night filled with wisdom, laughter, and soulful reflection. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the magic of their music and the beauty of their journeys.
