Join Movie Jawn at Get a Gato Cat Cafe for movie trivia! Pet cats, mix and mingle with film pals, and enjoy a menu of movie inspired mocktails! Win prizes!
Food/drink available for purchase, but your ticket includes time inside of our cat lounge. Read below to see all of our cat lounge policies!
🐈 LOUNGE RULES, PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING TICKETS
The safety and security of the cats is our top priority, please familiarize yourself with our rules before your arrival. Our staff has the right to ask anyone who isn't following the rules to leave the lounge. No refunds will be issued.
🧦 SOCKS REQUIRED
We're a shoes off, socks on cat lounge. Bare feet are not permitted. Socks and shoe covers are available for purchase if needed.
👟 WALK-INS
We can only take walk-in's if we aren't fully booked.
We don't want you to be disappointed, so please book ahead!
🎟️ TICKETS
Each ticket is valid for only one guest and only for the time indicated on the ticket. Each person in your group, including children, must have their own ticket to enter the cat lounge.
🔒 MAXIMUM CAPACITY
Lounge capacity is capped at a maximum of 10 ticket holders per session. To ensure the happiness and safety of our cats we can not exceed this number of visitors in the lounge. Please ensure you are purchasing the appropriate number of tickets for your party and double check the time of your visit.
👧🏻 CHILDREN
Children 5 and up are welcome inside the cat lounge but must be accompanied by a parent. For every 2 children under 18, there must be at least one ticket holding adult present in the cat lounge for the duration of their visit.
🗓️ RESCHEDULING
You can reschedule your reservation from the website up to 12 hours before your scheduled time slot. After that we are unable to reschedule you for any reason.
💵 REFUNDS
We can refund your ticket (minus the processing fee) up to 48 hours before your scheduled time slot. After that we are unable to refund you for any reason.
⏰ TIME
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your reservation to check in with a lounge attendant. You will be let into the cat lounge at the top of the hour and will be allowed to stay until 10 minutes before the following hour.
⏰ RUNNING LATE
If you're running a little late for your reservation, we can usually still admit you but please keep in mind that sessions end 10 mins before the top of the following hour regardless of your arrival time. We can only fit 10 guests in our lounge at a time, so we cannot roll over into the next hour's session.
☀️ CAT ACTIVITY
The cats tend to be most active during the morning sessions, less active during the afternoon times, and more active again during the evening hours (but this is not a guarantee!) Please choose a time of day that will give you the experience you are looking for. Our cats have two 1 hour beaks daily from 12pm-1pm and 3pm-4pm, please also keep this in mind when planning your visit.
💵 TICKET SALES
We are a non profit organization and ticket sales are a tax-deductible donation. All proceeds go towards shelter, food, toys, and vet care for our adoptable cats.
🐈⬛ ADOPT
- Our adoptable cats come from The Cat Collaborative and House Of The Cat. They have all been vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and chipped.
- Due to high adoption rates, we can never guarantee which cats or how many cats will be available when you visit.
- We only accept applications from potential adopters after they've met the cat in-person during one of our scheduled sessions. Our mission is to find all of our cats the purrrfect home and observing interactions with potential adopters is part of this process. Please apply in-person during your visit, there is no online application.
- The application process can take up to a week. We do not offer same-day adoptions.
-Adoption Fees:
Gatitos - kittens under 1 year - $150
Gatos - cats 1 year and older - $125
- All cats must go home in a safe carrier. Cats cannot be taken home in any other container.
