What We're Looking For
We will select unique vendors that align with our farm's brand and values. We strive to keep a balance of vendors and will limit the number of vendors in each category so our shoppers have a vast variety of items to choose from. We will accept vintage, handmade, boutique, & food concession vendors. We will not approve direct sales vendors of any kind (Tupperware, Paparazzi, Usborne Books, Pampered Chef, etc). This is an outdoor only event.
We also look for specific vendors based on assortment of merchandise, style, & branding, as well as personality. Merchandise must be displayed in a way that looks pleasing and inviting. We are looking for eye candy! Most importantly, we seek out friendly, fun-loving, smiling vendors who can help us make our event a very happy place to be!
NOTE: This is NOT a flea-market type event. The categories of vendors include:
General Vendors that sell hand-made, crafted, vintage, one-of-a-kind, and re-purposed pieces, jewelry, decor, and fashion accessories.
Pet Focused Vendors that sell hand-made, crafted products & merchandise for pets.
Kid Focused Vendors that sell unique merchandise, clothing, & products for the kiddos.
Boutiques with unique merchandise and clothing.
Bakers & Makers that sell handmade, pre-packaged baked goods, sweets & treats. Due to our farm's onsite concession AND store, we will not allow vendors to sell donuts, flavored popcorn, and jarred goods such as jams, salsas, sauces, etc. during Mum Fest.
Food Concessions that make and sell food & beverage items such as specialty drinks, sandwiches, desserts etc. Due to our farm's onsite concession AND store, we will not allow food vendors to sell kettle corn, donuts, ice cream, pizza, coffee, & slushies during Mum Fest.

Registration & Payment
Online registration and at least 50% down payment is due by Feb. 1st. If you do not pay in full at the time of signup, the additional payment will automatically deduct from your card on May 1st. If your card is declined at that time, we will apply a $10 processing fee to update your card information without prior notice.
WIFI
We recommend a Hotspot for our venue and each vendor is solely responsible for bringing any items/accessories needed to run their own credit card sales. We do not provide access to WiFi.
Electricity
Electricity will NOT be provided to any vendor type.
Vendor Layout
There is NO guarantee you'll be granted the same space as the prior year. We will try our best to place you in a similar location, but our ultimate goal is to ensure that like vendors are not placed next to one another.
A vendor layout diagram with final event details will be sent a couple of weeks prior to the event. We want all vendors to feel well-informed ahead of the event by providing this level of information in advance. With that said, we will not take any requests for space reassignment.
Vendor Parking
We will have designated parking for vendors. Only one vehicle per vendor will be allowed to park in the designated area. If you have a trailer, we may ask that you park in a different area of the farm. We ask that once you complete setup, your vehicle is moved to the designated area.
Set Up & Tear Down
Friday setup is highly recommended. Vendors may begin setting up at 4pm the Friday prior and must leave the farm by 7pm that evening.
We will provide a clear timeframe for set up and we reserve the right to refuse entry to a vendor who does not arrive on time to set up prior to the beginning of the event. All vendors must be set up and ready by 8:30am on Saturday and by 9:00am on Sunday.
All vendors must remain set up until 4pm both days of the event or you will NOT be asked back to future events. You will not be allowed to drive your vehicle to your spot to load until 4pm on Sunday.
We CANNOT guarantee any labor assistance for setup or tear down, however, we will have staff helping out in the vendor area when available.
VIP Experience
We will once again pre-sale VIP tickets for early entrance to Mum Fest - BOTH DAYS at 9am. All vendors must be here & set up by this time! No exceptions.
This continues to be well received by both shoppers and vendors. We invite you to donate swag and/or coupons to your booths for the VIP shopping bags. More details on this will be sent to vendors in July.
Promotions
We advertise heavily through a variety of channels. We expect each vendor to take a vested interest in promoting participation at Mum Fest with social media posts, inviting attendees to our official Facebook Event page, posting about your products in the event page, marketing collateral, etc. The more you share, the greater the reach, and the more everyone benefits!
We ask that you please email 4 photos of your products for the creation of "Find Me at Mum Fest" social media posts, created by our social media manager by May 1st. These posts will be shared in the official Facebook Event page starting in the summer. Instructions for how submit photos will be sent at a later time.
Confirmed vendors will be invited to a Vendor only Facebook Group.
Policies
Insurance & Permit Requirements
One-day liability insurance policies are usually available through an existing Homeowners or Business insurance policy for a very low cost. It is HIGHLY encouraged that each vendor obtain a policy that provides coverage for their booth space. Triple M Farm Mariah’s Mums & More, LLC is NOT responsible for any damage and/or injury that takes place within your booth space.
All food vendors are required to obtain a temporary food permit from the DeWitt County Health Department and must be visibly displayed throughout the duration of the event.
Cancellation
All vendor fees are Non-Refundable (for any reason). This event takes several months of pre-planning and preparation. The majority of your vendor fee supports targeted marketing and advertising that's spent months prior to the event. That is why we’re able to execute an event with large crowds of shoppers.
Weather
Because of our full calendar of events, we cannot reschedule Mum Fest for a future weekend if adverse weather arises. Therefore, we will not make any refunds for cancellations due to weather. If we are required to delay start times or cancel due to a consistent or ominous weather event, we'll make every effort to notify you in advance by any means we feel fit; however, no credits or refunds will be issued. It is also your responsibility to monitor weather and plan accordingly to secure and protect your tent or trailer and its contents. We have committed to our guests to be open the days and hours we have published and in years of rain, our loyal attendees have shown up prepared with raincoats, boots, and umbrellas to shop and enjoy Mum Fest!
If severe weather conditions develop after Mum Fest has opened, guests and vendors are expected to move to their vehicle. Once the severe weather has passed, the event manager will make the decision to resume normal operations for the remainder of the event.
In all cases, Mum Fest delays or cancelations will be posted on our website & social media pages.
Additional Requirements
- All vendors are responsible for their own tent, tables, display units, table covers, signage, and any other items needed to effectively set up their area.
