What You Will Learn
Step into the shadows of the swamp for Bones in the Bayou, a spine-tingling whodunit set deep in Louisiana’s misty backwaters. Spanish moss hangs heavy from the cypress trees, secrets drift through the humid air, and something long-buried has risen to the surface. When a body is discovered along the bayou’s edge, guests must become detectives for the evening—untangling rumors, interrogating suspicious locals, and piecing together clues hidden beneath layers of Southern charm and dark deception.
With eerie twists, shocking revelations, and plenty of theatrical drama, this immersive experience will test your instincts and your alibi. In the bayou, everyone has something to hide—and every detail matters.
Characters and descriptions will be assigned prior to the event, so keep an eye on your email in the week leading up to it.
While not required, arriving in character is highly encouraged. Think flowing linens, swamp-chic elegance, vintage Southern flair, or anything that feels at home beneath the cypress trees. Costumes, props, and bold acting choices will only deepen the mystery.
We can’t wait to uncover the truth with you—but tread carefully… the bayou remembers everything.

What To Expect
- Host: Clare Woollen
- Instructor: No Thyme To Cook Lead Chef Instructor
- Length: Approximately 2.5 hours.
- Format: Experience: This is not a Hands-On Class. The Chef prepares and cooks the meal while you sit back and enjoy. Come with friends or family, mingle at your table, enjoy beverages, and relax in this restaurant-style evening.
- Location: Second floor: Please note that our second floor is ONLY accessible via stairs.
- Restrictions: Ages 16 and older. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
All students will receive 10% off any scheduled public class(es) purchased that evening.
Experience Options
- General Admission: Arrive up to one hour before the start of class to enjoy cocktail hour at NTTC's fully-stocked bar.
