Ahoy, Scallywags and Seafarers! You Be Summoned to a MURDER at the Brethren Council!
The notorious Brethren of the Coast—a loose but deadly coalition of the most feared pirates to sail the seas—has called an emergency council in a hidden cove along the Chesapeake Bay. With tensions high and alliances fragile, you are invited to join this clandestine meeting of rogues, cutthroats, and treasure-seekers.
Don your finest pirate attire to partake in a night of hearty feasting, spirited debates, and shadowy intrigue. Each guest will receive a secret character dossier to prepare for this night of skullduggery. You must unravel the mystery, uncover hidden betrayals, and decide who among you can be trusted.
Will you expose the traitor, or will this council end in mutiny and bloodshed? One thing is certain: this gathering of the Brethren will be one for the history books—or the gallows!
No prior experience needed. Prepare for twists, turns, and intrigue—get ready to set sail on an adventure of a lifetime.

What To Expect
Each guest will be assigned a character for the evening. You are encouraged to come in costume. The dinner consists of a three-course gourmet meal which you will enjoy as you work toward solving the mystery.
- Instructor: No Thyme to Cook Lead Chef
- Host: Coming Soon
- Length: Approximately 3 hours
- Format: Experience. This is not a Hands-On Class. The Chef prepares and cooks the meal while you sit back and enjoy. Come with friends or family, mingle at your table, enjoy beverages, and relax in this restaurant-style evening.
- Location: Second Floor - Please note the second floor can ONLY be accessed via stairs.
- Restrictions: Classes are for participants aged 18 and older. Children aged 16-18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Experience Options
- Premium Experience: Arrive up to one hour before the start of class and enjoy a seasonal appetizer as well as your choice of one complimentary glass of beer, wine, or soft drink. (additional drinks available for purchase)
- General Admission: Arrive up to one hour before the start of class to enjoy cocktail hour at NTTC's fully-stocked bar.
- Allergies: We will attempt to accommodate any true medical allergy with advance notice. Please indicate allergies when completing ticket purchase.
